HidR (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the HidR mobile application.

By using HidR, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Username

• Email address or phone number

• Profile information

• Age or date of birth

• Gender and preferences

• Profile photos

User Content

You may upload:

• Profile photos

• Private album photos

• Messages sent to other users

• Together activities you create, including their title, description, date, selected meeting place and participant limit

• Your participation in Together activities

This content is stored securely using cloud infrastructure.

Location Information

HidR uses approximate location data to:

• show users nearby

• calculate distance between users

• show Together activities within the available search radius

• display the meeting place explicitly selected by an activity organizer

Your device location is used while the app is in use. HidR does not automatically publish your current or exact device location. When you create a Together activity, the meeting place you explicitly select, including its map coordinates, is stored and displayed as part of that activity.

Device Information

We may collect limited technical information such as:

• device type

• operating system version

• app version

This information helps improve app performance and stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• create and manage your account

• display your profile to other users

• enable messaging between users

• show nearby users

• create, display and manage Together activities and their participants

• improve app performance

• prevent abuse and ensure safety

Your information is never sold to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

HidR uses trusted third-party services to operate the application.

Firebase (Google)

Used for:

• authentication

• database storage

• cloud messaging

• analytics

AdMob may collect limited advertising identifiers to display relevant ads.

4. Advertising

HidR may display advertisements to free users.

Advertisements are provided through Google AdMob.

Users who subscribe to premium plans may experience fewer or no advertisements.

5. Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your information, including:

• encrypted connections (HTTPS)

• secure cloud storage

• access control for sensitive data

However, no system can be completely secure.

6. User Safety and Moderation

HidR may monitor reports and content to:

• prevent harassment

• prevent illegal activity

• enforce community guidelines

Users can block or report other users directly within the app.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the service.

When you request account deletion, HidR schedules permanent deletion for seven days after your request. During this seven-day grace period, your account remains pending deletion and you may cancel the request from the app. Cancelling restores the account and stops the scheduled deletion.

Once the seven-day period has expired, deletion is processed during the next run of our automated service, scheduled daily at 03:00 Europe/Paris time. Permanent deletion may therefore occur up to approximately 24 hours after the displayed deadline. Data may be retained only when and for as long as required by law, or when strictly necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Account Deletion

You can request deletion directly in the app. The app displays the scheduled deletion date and a countdown during the seven-day grace period. You can cancel the deletion from this screen until permanent deletion has been processed.

After the seven-day grace period, HidR permanently deletes:

• profile and account information

• public and private photos and private-album records

• conversations involving the account, including their messages

• favorites, passes, profile views, notifications, blocks and private-album access requests associated with the account

• reports submitted by or made against the account, subject to any legal retention obligation described above

• Together activities created by the account, including their descriptions, selected meeting places and participant records

• the account’s participation records and related account references in Together activities created by other users; those activities themselves remain available

• the authentication account and associated account identifiers

HidR does not merely anonymize messages under this process: conversations involving the deleted account and the messages contained in them are deleted. Together activities organized by the deleted account are also removed for their participants.

9. Children’s Privacy

HidR is intended for users 18 years and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will remove the account.
